Studio Seven is an ownership-first creative suite by Tribe of Gaines. It is being built for independent creators who want serious tools, ordinary files, and a network boundary they can understand.
Design, motion, publishing, documents, spreadsheets, and photo organization should remain useful without an account or permanent connection. Online collaboration belongs in an optional service with a different, explicit contract.
We distinguish working features, runtime-dependent codecs, release candidates, and planned work. A local object label is not facial identity. Google Sheets interchange is not a hidden Google connection. An unsigned installer is not a public release.
The Studio Seven Editorial Desk publishes practical guides for the same people the product serves. Articles link to their sources, avoid invented experts, and are revised when the substance changes—not merely to make a date look fresh.
The native app begins from a default-deny outbound network policy. Managed work can be protected with local vault encryption. Release artifacts must be built, tested, signed where the platform expects it, and delivered only after a completed purchase.
Make the powerful thing understandable. Make the private choice the ordinary one.
